Murg Malai Kebab - (Mar. - 09)
 
Ingredients:

Chicken Breast - 2.2kg

Apna Asia - (Our Asia Our Magazine) : Apna Recipes - Mal Pua
  (approx. 5lbs)

Lemon juice - 150 ml

Gingergarlic paste - 100gms

Heavy Whipping cream - 150ml

Thick Yoghurt - 350 ml
  (if cooking in the oven substitute it with sour cream)
Cream cheese - 200gms
Egg - 1no. (optional)
Corn starch - 40gms
Cilantro fresh - 45gms (preferably stems)
Chopped green chilli - 10gms
White pepper pwdr. - 5gms
Cumin pwdr - 5gms
Salt to taste
 
 
Method:  
     
1.
Marinate the chicken in lemon juice, salt and ginger garlic paste. Leave  
for 10 mins.  
2.
Mix together cream cheese, yoghurt, corn starch, egg and all the powder  
spices, add this to the chicken.  
3.
Now add the heavy cream, chopped coriander stems and green chilies.  
Leave this to marinate overnight.  
4.
Skewer/ cook on barbeque grill or in the oven at 350 F for 10-12 mins.  
 
If cooking in the oven, cook on the center rack on wire mesh with dripping tray underneath.
